Every collector of Makonde art is invited to join this network! Some of my friends have allready joined so that I can show a great variety of Makonde and Tingatinga art on these pages, several other collectors will follow as soon as they've taken some shots of their art.

Some years ago I had the thougt that the "Makonde community" might need a pleace to meet, have a look at other collections and perhaps find out they haven't read all books about the Makonde, yet. That was the beginning of this site. The sculptures and paintings shown here were created by great artists like Anangangola, Dastani, Matei, Augustino Mwanga, Valentino, Mbangwende, Samaki, Mbalale, Fundi, Lilanga, Kashimiri, Nafasi, Chanuo, Mzuguno, Amonde, Omary, Mchisa and many other famous men.
